Evangelizing
We share the Good News with people who do not yet know Jesus personally. We particularly target those who have been caught up in New Age spirituality. New Age beliefs have become completely mainstream. Many people in the Western world believe in these ideas and practices, often unknowingly.
BOAT Alicante
Location in the center of the city of Alicante, where we reach out in English to immigrants, expats, digital nomads, and students as well as Spanish residents of the city. At BOAT we have language classes, Bible study, lectures, seminars and other group meetings. We print our own T-shirts that also include a QR code that leads to the A Life in 15 Minutes testimony video. >more about BOAT + photos
Online
We use social media and apps like Whatsapp to reach out to people and engage in conversations about the faith. In particular, we have conversations with young believers and others who are reaching out to us.
IAMoneworld
Under IAMoneworld, we create and distribute testimony videos online, especially aimed at non-believers. We have also created a series of 73 short videos with Bible verses, in order to spread God’s word online. Part of this series has been used by missionary organization Global Rize and another part by Open Doors Foundation (in a specific geolocation). Open Doors focuses on persecuted Christians worldwide. Under IAMoneworld we also create and distribute music videos, mainly based on texts from the Bible. >more about IAMoneworld
Workshops and lectures
We also equip Christians themselves in evangelizing New Agers, through workshops and lectures. For instance students at a Bible school, women’s groups, employees in a missionary organization, etc.
Equipping
We equip people in congregations, churches, (missionary) organizations and Bible schools with applicable knowledge in the field of New Age and modern spirituality, so that they learn to recognize it better, can enter a conversation more easily, and are informed when people with this background enter the church. We do this in Dutch and English (other languages with a translator), on location or at BOAT Alicante.
