“New Age spirituality is the air we breathe” said the pastor’s wife of a church in Oregon, after having participated in the “Spiritual but not Religious” seminar. New Age beliefs have become completely mainstream. Many people in the Western world believe in these ideas and practices, often unknowingly; outside and inside of the church.

This seminar aims to inform Christians about this world view and to equip them in evangelism and discernment

After having been in this movement for 35+ years each, 2 Dutch women living in Spain radically came to faith in 2018. Ingrid and Bo now dedicate themselves to the ministry God gave them: New Page Ministries. Their mission is to bring people from New Age to God’s Word. New Page Ministries is a faith-based ministry, and partner of 2 mission organizations: ABWE/Live Global (USA) and Werkers in de Wijngaard (the Netherlands).

The “Spiritual but not Religious” seminar has taken place in the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, and the United States. On November 6 and 7 it will take place in Alicante Spain.

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching
but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,
and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2 Tim. 4:3-4

o What is New Age?
o History of the New Age movement
o The most important root of the New Age deception
o What is the purpose of this spiritual movement?
o Is New Age still relevant in our current culture?
o Do we see New Age influences in the church?

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7

9:30am Session 4: Evangelizing New Agers and other spiritual people – workshop
o Learn the nine main beliefs of New Agers and their goals
o Research for yourself what the Bible says about these beliefs
o Be encouraged and receive insights and practical tips to have more fruitful conversations with New Agers

12:30pm Session 5: Discernment 101 workshop
13:30pm Book presentation & hand out books
At the end of the 2 day seminar, all participants receive the 150-page book “Spiritual but not Religious” for more in-depth information and also as a practical guide. (the book is not for sale)
